These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of YardPilot, a business management platform provided by Yard Pilot ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using YardPilot, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have the authority to enter into these Terms
- Are using the service for business purposes
- Accept and will comply with these Terms
2. Description of Service
YardPilot is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed for home service businesses. Features include:
- Customer and property management
- Job scheduling and route optimization
- Quoting and invoicing
- Payment processing
- Team management and time tracking
- Client portal access
3. Account Registration
To use YardPilot, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
4. Subscription and Billing
4.1 Pricing
Subscription fees are as published on our website. We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Current subscribers will be notified before changes affect them.
4.2 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
- Payment is processed via Stripe or other approved methods
- Failed payments may result in service suspension

5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Upload malicious code or content
- Violate any third-party rights
- Resell or redistribute the service without permission
6. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all data you enter into YardPilot. We claim no ownership rights over your business data, customer information, or content.
You grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide and improve the service.
7. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
8. Intellectual Property
YardPilot, including its software, design, features, and branding, is owned by Yard Pilot. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the service.
9. Third-Party Integrations
YardPilot integrates with third-party services (Stripe, Square, Xero, Google, etc.). Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months
- We are not responsible for third-party service outages or failures
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yard Pilot from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription with 30 days notice. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without notice.
Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days. After this period, data may be deleted.
13. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in Queensland courts.
